Keep it in your cabinet: Top 5

Usually the natural stuff is the best stuff.

1.

You can literally use this for anything, you hair, skin, you can even eat it! It's the good kind of fat that won't make you fat.

2.

This stuff will sort out most of you skin care problems, I personally love to use it on my lips but it's also great for any dry patches.

3.

You need to keep some tea tree oil in your cabinet! Its treats so many things from acne to an anaesthetic for cuts! Put a few drops in your vaporiser to ease chest congestion, use it to treat bad body odours too, by putting a few drops in your (or someone else's if they stink but you don't want to tell them) bath. It can also treat a sinus infection, dry scalp and more!

4.
Peppermint Leaves

Chuck these into a mug of boiling water and you have the perfect de-bloating potion. They can also help to ease a sore tum.

5.

Argan oil is great for a lot of things but I'd say the thing that it is best at is nourishing you hair! If your hair starts to feel like it needs some TLC then drop some of this on it and it will feel renewed, soft and healthy.

Let me know if there is anything else you'd like to know about!

You're doing it wrong: Water

This precious liquid which makes up over 60% of your body is, clearly, very vital in being a healthy individual. Apparently you should be drinking 70oz a day, well I'm here to tell you differently! You SHOULD be drinking half your body weight, in water, everyday! That means if you weigh 128oz like I do, then you should be drinking 64oz which is about 8 glasses of water a day. So it's different for everyone! Loosing count? Don't worry! There are some nifty apps to help you count the glasses away. My favourite is called Daily Water, it allows you to check of a cup of water every time you drink one! Reminds me to drink more too. Some other apps are Waterlogged which does it all by oz if you like to be exact and iDrated which is even more particular!

Drink up!

Spring Wardrobe

Any excuse to go shopping is a good one.

Here are some ideas for your Spring wardrobe!

Image 1 of EMBROIDERED TOP from Zara  Zara 'Embroidered Top' £29.99

I adore this top! it's so sweet and angelic, it's perfect for the Spring time weather as it's not too hot and not too cold on those sunny days!

Suede skirt | MANGO Mango 'Suede Skirt' £49.99

Okay so you MUST have a suede skirt in your wardrobe for this season! It is your choice which one you get but personally, I think that this one by Mango is so sleek and looks so stylish with a simple top.

Urban Outfitters 'Cooperative Ringer tee' £16

I am ALWAYS looking for a simple tee that I actually like and I have to say that I really like this one. It's comfy, goes with practically anything; really is a 'grab and go' kind of top.

Image 1 of CIGARETTE JEANS from Zara  Zara 'Cigarette Jeans' £39.99

I have been looking for some white ripped jeans for a while and I finally found some when browsing Zara's online store. They are very boyfriend style and loose around the legs, so if you're into that then you'll love them but if you don't 'dig' that style, then don't bother. If you are digging it however then visit www.zara.com

Topshop 'MOTO Black Denim Dungarees' £48

Really loving this whole 'dungaree trend' that is going around at the moment, mine were looking quite dated so I had to pick up a new pair. I went for these black ones from Topshop as they are a bit different to my old ones and i know they will work with loads of different styles. Pretty chic for a pair of dungarees.

Image 1 of OMBRE DIAMANTE DRESS from Zara  Zara 'Ombre Diamante Dress' £29.99

I bought this dress for a 70s party but ended up loving it as a dress to wear out in the evenings. It is SO comfy and makes my boobs look awesome, so if that's what you're going for then buy this dress NOW.

River Island 'Red Ribbed Racer Crop Top' £10

I might as well tell you that I LOVE orange, it is my favourite colour and I often can't resist something in this shade. I'm sure you'll realise this soon enough. Anyway, this cute crop top is perfect with your pair of anything high waisted.

Finisterre 'Zennor Coverup' £80

This lovely piece is made with Marino wool which is lightweight but surprisingly warm, perfect for those cooler days.

Image 1 of FRONT PLEAT JUMPSUIT from Zara  Zara 'Front Pleat Jumpsuit' ON SALE £13 RRP £25.99

This sweet playsuit is a steal at the moment. It's a fantastic yellow colour, a real statement, no accessories needed.

Topshop 'MOTO White Western Denim Jacket' £39

I've been wanting more denim jackets to go with my Spring/Summer dresses so I was very pleased when I found this. We all love a good denim jacket and should not be missed in your Spring/Summer wardrobe!

Finisterre 'Harlyn Nepped Tee' £30

If you haven't heard of Finisterre yet then please, do yourself a favour and check it out! Especially if you are a fan of the simplistic base layer/layer building look.

Image 2 of OFF-SHOULDER TOP from Zara  Zara 'Off-shoulder Top' £25.99

This is a great buy, I love this top. It floats around me and allows me to feel free, and it looks lovely.

River Island 'Black Ribbed Bardot Crop Top' £18

I bought this top because of it's simplicity and it's ability to make any pair of trousers (or a skirt, or shorts) look instantly more formal, ready for the evening!

Image 7 of HIGH WAIST SHORTS from Zara  Zara 'High Waist Shorts' £25.99

This year instead of purchasing the usual 'short shorts' I decided I would be a bit more mature and buy this spiffing pair instead. I must say, I wasn't sure about these but once I put them on I fell in love!

Topshop 'Crochet Bralet' £22

Loving yellow at the moment so thought that this yellow bralet would look great under some blue denim dungarees, looking forward to wearing this one out when the weather gets a little bit warmer.

Finisterre 'Alize Tank' £40

Alway in need of more plain tees like this to layer with, and now that you all know how I feel about the colour orange, how could I not? This top comes in a few different colours.

Image 1 of SKINNY TROUSERS from Zara  Zara 'Skinny Trousers' in yellow £35.99

As I said, I'm loving yellow at the moment and who doesn't love a pair of trousers? And they're so yellow! Enough said.

Image 1 of DENIM SKIRT WITH POCKETS from Zara  Zara 'Denim Skirt with Pockets' £29.99

Denim skirts are IN this season and I think that this one from Zara is cute and retro. I probably wear it way to much but I don't care!

More Underwear!

So I went on a little shopping spree AGAIN as the Agent Provocateur SALE was on, not good for my credit card but lots of fun for me, except for the debt that is.

Connie Bra £20 and Briefs £25

I LOVE this set, mainly for its sheer pinkness! These pieces remind me of candy and I adore it. I feel like barbie when I'm wearing it which is great.

Sandra Bra £45, French Knicker £50 and Suspender £60

Although I did purchase this set because it looked crazy and I thought all of those straps look somewhat sexy, I have never actually worn it or even tried it on, YET, but it looks awesome.

Margot Bra £35 and Thong £25

I would say that this set is the 'little black dress' of underwear. It's sleek and sexy and fairly comfortable considering it's all lace.

Phoenix Bra £45 and Briefs £35

My favourite purchase, I love this beautiful lace multicoloured set with the green bows and straps, I am simply in love with it. You know when a piece of underwear just makes you feel good, that is what this set does for me.

Lavelle Bra £45 and Briefs £45

I was attracted to this set because of it's vibrant, rich colour. I love the way it looks but it's the most uncomfortable set I've bought from Agent P yet, I still love it though.

Check out www.agentprovocateur.com for more beautiful pieces.

Hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know if there is anything you would like me to talk about!

Spring Skin

As Spring time rolls in I am finding my skin dry and damaged by the cold, and I mean cold, Winter. Having the same problem? Help is at hand! Lets mix up our routines with some rejuvenating, moisturising products.

First things first, shower gel and face wash, to keep our bodies squeaky clean!

For the body:
Creme de Corps Nurturing Body Washing Cream - Travel-Size Body & Hair

Containing some beautiful nourishing ingredients such as Jojoba oil (this has been used traditionally by native americans and and Mexicans for skin care), Glycerin and Shea butter, lovely.

L'Occitane 'Almond Shower Oil' £18

This is personally my favourite, I love everything about it, from the way it smells to the way the oil turns into a foamy lather on your body. It is rich and leaves my skin feeling soft.

For the face:

This will take the day off your face whilst enriching it with all that good stuff (like honey and almond extract).

Take The Day Off Cleansing Milk

Clinique never really fails for me, I've been using them for years and feel that there products basically do what they say on the bottle, and it's no different for this product. Removes your make-up whilst leaving your skin feeling soft and comfortable.

If these products are good, but just not good enough to go solo then here are some moisturisers that should do the trick.

For the body:
Beauty Sleep Body Butter, Neal's Yard Remedies
Neal's Yard 'Beauty Sleep Body Butter' £23

Now this stuff WORKS and it is FULL of some really good stuff, but be WARNED. It will make you want to enter the deepest sleep of your life as it absorbs into your skin, so if you want a moisturiser to apply during the day rather than in the evening then this is NOT the one for you.
                                   Click for enlarged view
The Body Shop 'Body Butter Duo' Sweep pea £16

This is a great product, inside this nifty pot are two different creams, one is for where your skin needs a little less hydration and the other is for where your skin needs a lot of hydration, for example your elbows, or if you're like me then all those little random patches of skin that for some reason are as dry as the Sahara.

For the face:
Superdefense Daily Defense Moisturizer SPF 20

This face cream is full of antioxidants (which is why the product is often advertised surrounded by berries). It absorbs into the skin nice and quickly and goes on smoothly. It is a delight to wear underneath my make-up. I think of it as a layer of protection against all the harshness my skin will be exposed to throughout the day.
                                   #

This stuff smells SO good, like zesty, fresh oranges. As far as the product itself, a little goes a long away. It leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth, it has a high, protective SPF and helps keep your skin looking radiant! I would also recommend the 'Vitamin C Skin Reviver' (£15) as a beautiful partnership to this moisturiser.

A little something extra:

This spray will give your face a little extra hydration during the day, if you need it.

If theses can't sort you out then I don't know what can!

Let me know if you liked this post and want to see more like it!
